How do we setup a credit account?
For those customers that will be doing frequent orders, please feel free to apply for an account.

How quickly can you deliver an order?
Delivery times vary, but typically most orders can be delivered within 24 to 72 hours. Call us to discuss your particular needs.

What is the largest volume you can deliver in one truck?
Depending on the density of the mix, we can fit approximately 150 yards in our largest truck.

Are you open on the weekend?
No, we are not open on weekends. We are open Monday to Friday.

Can you accommodate bulk orders for commercial growers
Absolutely. We can fulfill bulk orders for commercial and agricultural clients. Our manufacturing process ensures consistent quality and quantity for larger-scale operations.

Can I return empty bags?
Yes you can return empty bags to be recycled.
If you have an account with us we will add a $16 credit to your account for every 2.5 cubic yard bag that is returned.

Do you offer free delivery?
If a customer has a forklift or tractor with forks to unload our straight truck they would not require a power tailgate, please call us to discuss your specific delivery needs.
For orders that do not require a power tailgate delivery we provide free delivery depending upon order size:
Zone 1: Over 8 bags or 20 yards of bulk soil
Zones 2/3: Over 10 bags or 30 yards of bulk soil -
Can I pick up my soil order?
Yes, you may pick up your order if your vehicle is capable of holding a 2.5 yards of material. All soils are sold in a 2.5 yard bag. If you will be moving your soil yard bag on a flat bed truck or similar uncovered vehicle, we recommend adding a pallet cover to your order to secure your bag and keep material from blowing onto the roadway.

Can I bring my own container?
No, we do not allow for personal containers (no boxes, buckets, trash cans, barrels, etc.).

Can I return empty bags?
Yes you can return empty bags to be recycled.
If you have an account with us we will add a $16 credit to your account for every 2.5 cubic yard bag that is returned.

Can I fill my truck/container myself?
Safety rules do not allow for the self filling of containers. Our staff are excellent, and our yard bags are designed to hold the weight of our mixes.

Can you fill dump trailers?
Yes, we can fill dump trailers, orders size is dependent on dump trailer and material density.

Will my soil order fit into a Sedan, Mini-Van or Pickup Truck?
Our soil products are packaged into 2.5 yard bags, weigh around 1000 pounds and will not fit into most vehicles.
A regular pickup truck can take one of our bags, a one ton pickup truck is needed to take two of our yard bags.
Soil Blends

Do you have a recommendation for a garden?
Our Sumas garden blend is an excellent option for a healthy garden.

Do you have any mixes similar to Promix?
Our Sumas HP is very similar to Promix.

Can you blend in my own fertilizer?
Unfortunately, no we cannot blend personal fertilizer products. Talk to us if you need a custom blend.

Do you have any mixes for certified organic growers?
We can create soil mixes using certified and non certified organic inputs. All of our soil mixes are made in a facility that frequently incorporates inorganic inputs into soil media.

What's the minimum order quantity for a custom blend ?
The minimum order quantity for a custom blend is 4 bags, each bag is 2.5 cubic yards or approximately 500 gallons. Alternatively we can make custom blends for customers who order more than 10 yards for delivery in bulk.

How can I place an order for your customized potting soils?
You can place an order through our website or contact our sales team directly. We strive to make the ordering process convenient for our customers.

Do you provide technical support or guidance for using your potting soils?
Yes, we offer technical support and guidance to help growers make the most of our potting soils. Our team of horticulturists can provide recommendations for specific crops and growing conditions.

What quality control measures do you have in place?
We test the PH, EC and Sodium levels of all of our mixes as they leave our facility and keep frozen samples of every mix for 3-6 months after delivery for quality assurance purposes. Our Coconut Coir and Husk is triple buffered and tested before it is sold to our customers. Our Jump Start compost is lab tested for soluble ions and pathogens prior to sale as well.

What types of plants are your potting soils suitable for?
Our potting soils are suitable for a wide range of plants, including but not limited to flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruits. We can customize blends for specific crops and applications.
